Buffalo Police Respond To Second Fatal Shooting Thursday

BUFFALO, NY ( release ) Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon, April 1st, on Fillmore Avenue.

Police were called to the 1400 block of Fillmore Avenue right around 12:30pm

Detectives believe a 27 year old male was outside, on or near the sidewalk area, when it appears a vehicle pulled up and an unknown suspect opened fire, striking the individual.

He was rushed to ECMC by Rural Metro but died a short time later.

Detectives are seeking information regarding a vehicle, a late 90's model, possibly a green Pontiac Bonneville with spoilers on the back of the car.

Detectives say another vehicle was struck during the incident but no one in that car apparently was injured.

At this time, the individuals name is not being released.
