2010 Primetime Emmy Nominations

LOS ANGELES, CA (WKBW/ABC) -- Nominations for the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were handed out in Hollywood, California Thursday morning.

The HBO mini-series "The Pacific" led all nominations with 24, with the Fox comedy hit "Glee" following with 19, and AMC's "Mad Men" netting 17 nominations.

ABC's new hit comedy "Modern Family" received a number of nominations, including a nod in the category of best comedy series. "Modern Family" returns with an all new season this fall on ABC.

The 2010 Emmy Awards will air on August 29 on NBC. Below is a list of the major nominees:
