BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Reality television host Mark Brunetz is visiting Buffalo at the Buffalo Home and Garden Show. He sat down with Linda Pellegrino for "AM/Buffalo" to talk about why he is in town, and how your home and living space can look great!

From Cleveland native to Los Angeles celebrity designer, Mark Brunetz has carved out a name for himself in interior design, eliminating clutter and reality television. An expert at communicating design principles to a broad audience, Mark was honored with an Emmy® Award in 2010 as the co-host of Clean House on the Style Network.
At the creative helm of his LA-based design firm, Mark has collaborated with Hollywood’s A-list, launched his eponymous line of home furnishings on the Home Shopping Network and penned his first book Take the U Out of Clutter with Penguin Books. Committed to a variety of charitable causes, Mark also traveled to South Africa to conduct his first international makeover under his non-profit initiative Design Without Borders.
Mark began his professional career in the mid-90s creating a string of successful workout videos for fitness guru Jane Fonda. Later, he co-founded Fortis Films with actress Sandra Bullock and served as a development executive on several film & TV projects including Hope Floats, Practical Magic and George Lopez.
In 1999, Mark segued into design serving as Creative Director for a special events company designing for such clients as Nestlé, Bacardi USA and DaimlerChrylser. Mark’s innovative and fiscally responsible approach secured the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a strategic partner and earned the company a Best Event Design nomination.
In 2000, Mark launched Mark Brunetz Designs and began compiling a design portfolio that reflects nearly every style of décor. Well-edited, timeless and distinctly comfortable, Mark’s ideas accurately reflect the needs, desires, and aspirations of today’s homeowners. His design work remains at the forefront of the industry and has been featured in print domestically and internationally with features in Us Weekly, In Touch and People Magazine.
In 2002, Mark segued into reality television hosting for MTV, HGTV and TLC before joining the cast of Clean House on the Style Network. After eight seasons on the show, Mark helped build an international franchise that includes Clean House Comes Clean for which he served as co-host and consulting producer and Clean House: The Messiest Home in the Country for which he received an Emmy Award® in 2010. Clean House programming aired in over 30 countries worldwide.
A prominent authority in living clutter free, Mark has helped 1000s of homeowners transform their homes and their lives. This in-depth experience inspired his first book Take the U Out of Clutter: The Last Clutter Book You Will Ever Need released by Penguin Books in 2010. Mark’s unique, inside-out approach has been featured in all types of media from The New York Times to nationally-syndicated The Nate Berkus Show to Martha Stewart Living on Sirius XM Radio, to name a few.
As an accomplished designer and entrepreneur, Mark speaks regularly throughout the U.S. including a recent keynote presentation at the International Design Guild’s Summit 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. With over 300 episodes of reality TV to his credit, Mark continues to develop a wide range of products and programs to inspire design enthusiasts from all walks of life.
Mark currently resides in the Los Angeles area and travels extensively to maintain a select group of private interior design clients.
