Allen Leight

Multi-Media Journalist - Sports

Allen is a full time Multi-Media Journalist on Eyewitness News.

A WNY native (from Oakfield, NY), Allen began his career at WKBW-DT as a news photographer in 2008. A few years later he became the station's Internet Content Manger, which included a short stint on the morning show with a special segment call 'Morning Leight'.

Allen became an MMJ with Eyewitness News in April of 2011. Aside from shooting, writing and reporting on various news stories, he also works with Eyewitness Sports, filming on the sideline during Buffalo Bills games and helping out as needed.

Allen graduated from Oakfield-Alabama High School in 2002, and received a BA in Communication Studies from Hilbert College in 2006, where he played NCAA Division III basketball for 4 years.

Allen, his wife and daughter live in the Town of Tonawanda with their American Bulldog named Boomer and two cats.
