As the morning reporter at WKBW, Laura has covered many of the area's most notable stories. She was live the morning two Buffalo firefighters were killed in a blaze August 2009. She also covered the trial of WNY's serial killer, Altemio Sanchez.

Laura Gray moved to Buffalo a week after the October Surprise Storm dumped several feet of snow on Western New York. Luckily, her snow boots were ready. Laura joined Channel 7 from WJET-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania. While in Erie, Laura had the opportunity to cover academic competitions in Chicago and San Antonio. She also reported on the manhunt for Ralph "Bucky" Phillips.

Laura was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Park University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She also studied video editing at the InterContinental University in London, and interned with NBC London.

Laura was awarded First Place for Spot News Coverage by the New York Broadcasters Association. She is a volunteer with Make A Wish.

In her spare time, Laura likes yoga, golf, traveling, reading, and cooking.
