Ginger Geoffery is currently the anchor of the 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. weekend newscasts at Eyewitness News. She is a native of Winter Haven, Florida, but she's made Buffalo her home since 2001. Ginger's past experience includes reporting on the Buffalo Sabres for the Empire Sports Network, anchoring the news on WBEN-AM, and traffic reporting for several area stations. Before moving to Buffalo, the University of Florida graduate worked as a sports anchor for CNN Headline News. Her career has also taken her to Dallas, TX where she reported on the Dallas Stars hockey and Texas Rangers baseball teams, and Denver, CO where she worked for the NBC affiliate. Ginger joined Eyewitness News in the fall of 2004. She is active in the local theatre scene having performed on-stage at the Alleyway Theatre as well as with The Amherst Players, and is a member of "These Working Actors." Ginger and her husband Rick live in Buffalo.
