Joanna Pasceri

Joanna Pasceri co-anchors the 5, 6 & 11 News. She also brings us the latest health news on Eyewitness News at 5pm.

Joanna is a native Western New Yorker. Born and raised in Lockport, she's a graduate of Lockport High School. She continued her education at SUNY Fredonia and graduated with a degree in Communications.

Joanna began as a producer when she joined the Eyewitness News team in 1993. Prior to joining Channel 7, Joanna was an anchor, reporter, and producer for six years at WETM-TV in Elmira, N.Y.

Joanna was promoted to Eyewitness News Reporter/Anchor in 1997. She has been recognized with several awards for her work in news. In 1997, she was awarded the AP Award for Best Spot News Coverage, and the AP Award for Best Continuing Coverage.

Joanna is a member of the Lockport High School Hall of Fame, after being inducted in 2007 into the first class of Distinguished Alumni.

Joanna and her husband, a Clarence native, have two daughters, Cristina and Mary Jean.
