Justin Moore is a Multimedia Journalist for 7 Eyewitness News. He joined the Eyewitness News team in September 2015.
Justin comes to Buffalo from the Mississippi Delta. While in the south, he worked three years as the chief bureau reporter for WABG in Greenville, Mississippi. Prior to that he worked as a producer for Fox-13 in Memphis, TN.
Justin studied Broadcast Journalism and Political Science at Jackson State University, in Jackson, Mississippi. While at Jackson State, he was a part of the famous marching band “The Sonic Boom of The South.”
Justin is passionate about telling good, impactful stories that create change in the community. He has won several Associated Press Broadcasting Awards in Mississippi.
Justin interviewed several powerful and well known figures, including Mississippi’s Governor Phil Bryant and the late B.B. King.
When he’s not working, Justin enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants, reading, working out and hanging out with his family. He loves to encourage the youth to stay in school and pursue their dreams.
He’s a member of the National Associate of Black Journalists and spends his free time working with organizations like the Fannie Lou Hamer Cancer Foundation (Ruleville, Mississippi) and U.S. Salvation Army.
